About This Video

Guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel—today I’m sharing a super condensed ā€œday in my lifeā€ while I’m in China, and honestly the footage is a bit all over the place because I’m still trying to get better at vlogging. My day basically starts at lunchtime (because I sleep late and wake up late), and we kicked things off at this really fun restaurant with a vintage, 80s/ancient-China vibe. The decor was giving antique shop energy, there were projectors playing old performances, and the food was incredible—classic Guangzhou-style dishes that just hit. After that, we went to one of my favourite spots: Jung Joa. It used to be an old factory, but it’s been revamped into this cute area with DIY shops, vintage stores, bars, snacks, and loads of photo spots (and yes… you can literally buy a pet rock). I also had to pop into a rock store because it was so creative, and then I took a much-needed shopping break with a matcha—although I definitely kept eating anyway. I tried roasted lamb with cumin, a corn dog, a traditional rice cake, and then we wrapped up with a supermarket run inside a massive shopping centre (plus claw machines I sadly didn’t win). I ended the day with a strawberry matcha and cake, and I genuinely felt like I couldn’t eat for 24 hours after—but it was so worth it.
