About This Video

Day three of vlogging in China and honestly… it’s exactly what you think: we went to eat and shop again (so, nothing new), but it was such a fun little “day documentary” to film. We started by catching the bus to an oyster buffet, and I was immediately like… why did I choose buffet when I’m not even someone who can eat that much? But the spread was actually insane—oysters and seafood everywhere, plus free drinks and ice cream, BBQ meats, cold dishes, desserts, skewers, dim sum, fruit, and veggies for a palate cleanser. I also tried some super interesting items (yes, that was cocoon) and grabbed melons because I love melons. After stuffing myself, we did a proper shopping wander and I had to stop and appreciate how pretty and grand the shopping centres are—like even the gold shop looked cute (not that I can afford it). I popped into a gorgeous home fragrance/decor brand called Beast (they even had a Harry Potter collection), tried on the blue Adidas jacket I thought I wanted but didn’t love IRL, and checked out a grungy silver-based jewellery brand called Blackhead. Then it was nail time—boba in hand, maximum pampering vibes—and I went longer than I usually do because the design was just so pretty. We wrapped the day with the most comforting soup with the fam.
