In this video I’m chatting all things perfume and how I personally think about finding a signature scent. The whole idea came from a convo with my friend (and my very embarrassing Dior Sauvage story… if you know, you know), and it made me realize how much a scent can become someone’s “thing.” My biggest tip is honestly: don’t get trapped in the “I’m not like other girls” mindset. If you love a popular, “generic” perfume and it makes you happy, that’s already a win—because you’re the one wearing it and smelling it all day. I also break down what to look for: figure out the major notes you naturally gravitate to (gourmand, fruity/citrus, green/aquatic), understand top/middle/base notes, and think about longevity (EDT vs EDP, and whether you’re okay reapplying). Body chemistry matters a lot too, so I always recommend getting a sample and wearing it for a few days to see how it fades and projects.
