Hey guys—because we’re finally in spring (and Sydney is starting to warm up again), I wanted to share five of my go-to spring perfumes that feel refreshing, light, joyful and just… easy to wear. When I think “spring scent,” I’m usually chasing fruity notes and tea notes—something a little grassy and cooling, but not bitter, not overly creamy, and definitely not cloying. These are the kinds of perfumes I’d wear on a cloudy-but-sunny day, like if I’m heading to a park, a garden, or just living my best cozy life. I go through Burberry Her EDT (the ultimate sweet green grape “soda pop” vibe), Tamburins Evening Glow (a dusty, powdery rose with playful lychee that can go office-to-dinner), and my all-time favourite signature scent: Byredo Bal d’Afrique, which I describe as a mango smoothie / creamy mango sorbet with florals—literally spring in a bottle. I also talk about Ad’dict Eat the Peach, a super clean, juicy peach-apple scent with a sandalwood base that’s easy to layer (and it’s alcohol-free so I even feel comfortable using it in my hair). And lastly, my underrated gem: Chasense Tie Guan Yin, the most realistic green tea perfume that makes me feel instantly calmer and cooler.
