The Landlord Changed the Rules… and We’re Out!

🚗 It’s the end of a chapter we didn’t plan for. After years of seasonal memories at our leased lake lot, we were suddenly told that the rules had changed — we’d now need to pay a four-month advance deposit to secure next season. Even though we were already paid in full for six more months, it didn’t make sense to commit that far ahead while considering selling our camper. So with snow on the horizon and only one free day in our schedule, we had no choice but to pack everything up and move out — two vehicles, one cargo trailer, one camper, and a lot of memories to haul home.
