In this video I do a full deep-dive on the all-new BLUETTI Charger 2, which replaces the super popular Charger 1. Because it’s the dead of winter up here in Canada (like -20°C), I do most of the breakdown on the workbench first—what it is, how it works, what’s changed, and how it’s meant to be more of a “smart energy hub” than just a basic DC-to-DC charger. The big headline is it can combine alternator input and solar input, and it intelligently routes that power to your power station and accessories. I also show the hardware, cooling/airflow considerations, and all the cables so you’re not guessing where anything goes. Then I put it to work. I test charging multiple BLUETTI power stations (AC180, Handsfree, AC200L) and I also charge an EcoFlow Delta 3 Max by using custom output settings—because the key rule is staying inside your power station’s DC input limits. One of my favorite upgrades is being able to adjust how much power you pull from your alternator so you can play it safe and ramp up as you gain confidence. Finally, I show the real install in my truck (routing, loom, grommets, mounting), app monitoring while driving, and the reverse charging feature to top up your starter battery so you’ve got a lot less stress about ending up dead.
