A WINDY VIRTUAL HIKE to Rowtor, Dartmoor National Park

Hi YouTube! This is something a bit different from my usual videos. This is an ASMR hike, a walk with ambient sounds only. No talking, no editing, no pieces to camera, and no shots of my ugly mug ruining the gorgeous views! I decided to make this video because I’ve had a few comments and messages from people, including my neighbours (hi Tony & Anne if you’re watching 👋🏻), saying that they love to watch my videos (and those of other hiking and wild camping channels) because they cannot get out there and hike themselves, whether that be due to age or health reasons. So this walk is for all of you. It’s a virtual hike from a first person point of view, as if you yourself are actually out doing the walk. I know it isn’t quite the same, but I hope this can recreate as best as possible the feeling of being outdoors on a hike. Today is only a short one, a little loop trail out to Rowtor in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England. There will be more to come!
