In this one I’m just working at night—no talking—setting up Ozone 11 for an upcoming mastering project. The whole point here is building a solid mastering template ahead of time so when the final song is actually done, I’m not starting from zero. I’ll get the chain dialed in as a “starting ground,” then I can come back later and make the real decisions with fresh ears. I do this kind of prep to save time and cut down on ear fatigue. Instead of forcing myself to master right after mixing (when my ears are already cooked), I’ll set the Ozone 11 session up, get everything routed and ready, and then revisit it when I’m in the right headspace.
