In this market day vlog, I’m taking you with me to our very first market of 2026 (Sunday, February 22nd) at an indoor venue—which I was honestly so grateful for because it was raining all day and even started snowing while we were packing up. Our space was smaller than what we’re used to (an 8x6 spot with a table provided), so I talk about why it helps so much to plan your setup ahead of time and even do a mock setup at home if you can. We had a super short setup window, so having a game plan made the day way less stressful. The market itself was slower, and there were supposed to be nine vendors but only five of us showed up because of the weather. Still, we made it a really sweet day—my fiancé stopped by, my best friend and her siblings came to say hi, and my mom and I kept our tradition alive with “Twizzler time” about 30 minutes before closing. Even with only 12 tickets, our average sale was higher than usual because people were grabbing multiple plushies or choosing my more “luxury” plushies. I break down exactly what sold (like my unicorn, turtles, chickens, keychains, and my mom’s axolotl snuggler!) and I share the full numbers: $366 total sales with a $50 booth fee. It was the perfect little market to ease back into the 2026 season, and I’m already excited for our next one on March 22nd.
