In this juice & chat, I’m in my little 1940s kitchen making my go-to pineapple, apple, ginger juice (yes, the apple core might be in there… I’m doing the best I can). While I juice, I talk about what’s been helping me when I feel stuck—because even literally yesterday I was in that “man, I’m a failure at life” headspace. If you’ve been feeling like you’re in a cycle, I wanted to offer a few mindset shifts that can add even 2% of help today. First, I share why I genuinely believe it’s courageous to feel the contrast instead of numbing out—because we live in a world where it’s so normalized to pacify emotions with food, drinking, smoking, scrolling, whatever. Contrast is the medicine. It’s where we grow, and it’s the whole heartbeat behind my BALANCE retreat in Tampa (April 11–13): breathwork, contrast therapy, workshops around surrender/protection and feminine/masculine, vegan food, juicing, and even playing with the contrast of empty/full through intermittent fasting. Then I get into sticking to the plan, not your mood. Sometimes honoring your feelings is real, but sometimes keeping one promise to yourself—like moving your body—builds trust and makes you feel 1% better. I also talk about discipline: noticing cravings, learning your pause, and choosing what your future self actually wants. I’m trying to become the woman I’ve always dreamed of—and I want you to feel that possibility too.
