About This Video

In this quick review, I put the Worx Landroid Vision to work and focused on what really matters: setup, navigation, and how well it avoids the stuff that usually trips robot mowers up. Getting started meant pairing it to the app, and you do need a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network (5 GHz won’t work). My first connection attempt failed, but the second went through, firmware updated, and the whole setup was pretty straightforward—about 15 minutes from unboxing to mowing. Once it started, the mowing pattern looked chaotic, but it still covered the yard efficiently. The camera-based navigation did a solid job reading the lawn texture and keeping the mower out of trouble around fences and raised garden edges—and yes, it avoided my foot too, which I’ll take as a win. I also tested features like obstacle detection (toys, pets, random yard clutter) and borderless mowing. It can get closer to edges, but it’s not perfect—you’ll still be coming back with a weed whip for cleanup. My takeaway: this is a great time-saver for small to medium yards with clear boundaries. If your yard has unclear edges or you need true multi-zone flexibility, a GPS-based mower may be a better fit.
