This one’s a proper feel-good live set with me and my other half back for the second half, doing what we do best: a bit of chaos, a lot of singing, and plenty of crowd energy. I kick things off by saying that was one of my original songs, then we lean straight into the fun stuff—big singalongs, a few classics, and the kind of moments you only get when you’re playing live and people are right there with you. There’s loads of that back-and-forth chat as well, because that’s half the night for me: checking everyone’s happy, having a laugh, and keeping it relaxed. We get people dancing, we joke about needing to rehydrate, and we even talk about the “perfect” male/female duo song (yes, it’s a bit cliche, but it works). There’s a Rocky Horror Time Warp moment, some proper nostalgic tunes, and then I wrap up with a little behind-the-scenes debrief—thanking everyone, chatting about how lovely the crowd was, and being honest about being knackered (and my foot/arch being a bit of a nightmare). If you like live busking/pub-gig vibes with real chat in between, this one’s exactly that.
