Happy Friday! This one’s a proper “when it works…” kind of stream. I kick things off fighting the tech (because of course I do), sorting my levels, and realising I’d somehow still got the title stuck on “Feeling Good on a Wednesday” even though it’s definitely not Wednesday. Once I’m up and running, it turns into a classic live song requests session: a bit of chat, a bit of silliness, and then straight into tunes—starting with one of mine (“English Rose”) before I lean into the Friday vibe with The Cure’s “Friday I’m in Love.” From there it’s requests and curveballs: a bit of Morrissey (“Hector Was the First of the Gang with a Gun in His Hand”), grunge with Pearl Jam’s “Black,” Linkin Park’s “Numb,” and some Queen with “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” I also talk honestly about why I’ve not been live much—my voice has been playing up, money’s been tight, and I’ve had to ration my voice for paid gigs. I explain the multi-stream setup (YouTube/Twitch/TikTok) and why my current internet makes that a pain, but there’s an upgrade coming soon so I can properly stream everywhere again. I finish up gently with “Blackbird,” because I’m trying to be sensible and not push my voice.
