Well, I started back in March 2020 when due to worldwide events, I could no longer perform outside. Took me a while to learn the ins and outs of streaming, but I'm still live streaming today! A large influence on this series has come from content creators such as Ortopilot and Boyce Avenue. --------------------------------SOCIALS-------------------------------- Get in touch @ bensmithukmusic@gmail.com 👥Linktree: https://bit.ly/bensmithukmusic 👥Facebook: https://bit.ly/3L6Fzgb 🐦Twitter: https://bit.ly/3Ev6JuJ 🐦Go get Ben to play a song you want to hear live on Twitch: https://bit.ly/37vfMzC -------------------------SEOSTUFFIGNOREIT---------------------- new songs uk, music, unsigned, new songs, uk music 2023, new music, twitchclip, twitchclips, live music, music 2023, fender acoustasonic jazzmaster, acoustasonic jazzmaster, fender, acoustasonic demo, new acoustasonic, fender american acoustasonic, acoustasonic jazzmaster demo #twitch #twitchmusic #busker

About This Video

In this one I’m doing what I love most: singing your songs live, busker-style, and trying to keep the vibe moving even when the tech decides to have a little wobble. I kick things off with a request and settle into that proper live session feel—just me, the mic, and the song—before I notice something’s not quite right with the audio. You can literally hear me clock it in real time: I’ve “done nothing different,” I’m just positioned differently, and suddenly it’s picking up the mic weirdly at that distance. I carry on anyway because, honestly, sometimes the only thing you can do is play and see if it sorts itself out. I run another song, check in with chat, and troubleshoot on the fly—turns out the YouTube app/inbuilt mic is being a bit funny, and at one point you lot can’t hear any guitar at all. That’s when I call it: rather than pretend it’s fine, I restart the stream. Takeaway? Live music is brilliant, but it’s also gloriously imperfect—so I’d rather be honest, keep you in the loop, and get it sounding right for the next round of requests.
