About This Video

In this video I keep smoked turkey breast super simple on a pellet grill. I’m using a 3 lb Butterball turkey breast and smoking it on my Weber Smoque XL at 275°F. For seasoning, I went with a combo I saw other folks using—Malcom’s King Craw (Cajun) first, then a light layer of Killer Hogs BBQ Texas on top. The big thing I focus on is getting the rubs on every part of the turkey breast so the flavor is solid all the way around. Once my Weber hit 275°F, I put the turkey breast on and let it roll until it reached 170°F internal. On this cook, it took me about 3 hours and 10 minutes, but if you grab a bigger breast it’ll take longer—so don’t cook by time, cook by temp. The King Craw gives off an awesome Cajun smell, and that Texas rub on top is a great fit for poultry. If you’re a beginner, this is an easy holiday cook: set your temp, run a probe, and pull it when it hits that 170°F.
