About This Video

Welcome back, guys—today I brought the Big Horn Outdoors “bad boy” in the house and put it to a quick pizza test. This thing is basically a portable outdoor oven/broiler that can hit crazy temps (up to 1500°F), and it comes with a pizza stone, which is perfect because I’m doing this as a two-part series. First up: pizza. I wanted to see how it handles a regular frozen pizza, because I’ve seen people do fresh dough, but beginners (and busy families) grab frozen all the time. I fired it up and ran it a little lower for pizza, and I tossed in a frozen Jack’s pepperoni pizza. And yeah… heat, heat, heat—this thing cooked it in about a minute. The bottom looked pretty good for that cook time, and the real test was my son: I came back inside and he had the whole pizza at his desk gaming. I asked him how it was and he said, “Good, Dad,” so it passed. Next video I’m throwing steaks in this thing and learning it a little more to get that perfect sear, so stay tuned and tell me what else you want to see cooked in it.
