About This Video

In this video I built an “AI game creator” that spits out game ideas, and then I used those ideas to see if an AI team could actually prototype the game. I did it inside Atoms, where you basically type one prompt and it assigns a whole squad of AI agents (team leader, engineer, product manager, data analyst, architect) to build the app for you. I also tested their race mode, which throws multiple AI models at the same prompt so you’re not just gambling on one AI’s first draft. First, I used race mode to generate a Flappy Bird-style game as a warm-up, then compared results—some were smoother, some were laggy, and a couple had errors (because of course they did). After that, I prompted the team mode to create a game idea generator with refinement options, hit an error when I opened the options, and used the built-in “fix error” flow to get a working version. It let me pick genre/platform/theme and generate a full concept like “Chronicles of Destiny.” Finally, I took that generated idea back into race mode and tried to have the AI build the actual game prototype. Two outputs failed, one made basically a website, and one produced a surprisingly complete playable prototype with character creation, card-based combat concepts, dimensions to explore, and menus. The takeaway: AI can absolutely crank out prototypes fast, but you still need to test, compare variants, and expect fixes.
