About This Video

In this Part 2 Radical Evil Eye review, I’m giving you the right-handed, “regular league guy” perspective. I’m Brandon from Back After 10, I average around 210–220, and I only had about six shots on the ball before I started filming on a fresh house shot. I also talk through what makes the Evil Eye different: it’s symmetric by definition, but with certain layouts it can behave more like an asymmetric, and Radical lays it out pretty clearly with their chart. For my ball, I went with a 20 x 4.5 x 25 layout (based off the bottom option on the spec sheet) so it doesn’t hit that node and stays truly symmetrical. What I saw was a strong, continuous motion that still stays controlled—front to back and left to right. I moved around a bunch (more right/up the boards, then deeper around 30–35) and the ball “did the right things” from a lot of places, which is exactly what you want on league nights and even when you need different shapes for tougher stuff. Bottom line: I’m not trying to sound like every reviewer, but this ball is really, really good. Time will tell how the cover holds up and what it looks like with surface changes, but so far the Radical Evil Eye looks like a winner.
