About This Video

In this one I’m bringing you a Radical Evil Eye review, but you’re getting it through the eyes of somebody who really knows ball motion—Jason Lundquist from Next Generation Bowlers Pro Shop. Quick disclaimer: I accidentally deleted the intro, but the layout Jason talked through was similar to mine—around 20 x 4 1/2 x 30-something. From the first few shots it was obvious this thing just doesn’t stop hooking, and we had to keep chasing it right to find a look. What stood out was how continuous the Evil Eye is. Jason said it’s “definitely more continuous” than his Pulse, and even when he missed it in or got it left, it still kept going—no sideways hockey-stick, just a giant arc that almost makes it look symmetric. On our 26.5 mL house shot, it flat-out recovered like crazy, and I said it looks like a Pulse and a GB5 had a baby. Jason’s take: tournament guys are going to love it, and league bowlers can use it to control over/under on wet/dry house shots. My takeaway? This is the strongest “looks-like-a-symmetric” motion I’ve personally ever seen, and yeah… I’m gonna have to drill one for giggles.
