About This Video

Welcome to 2026 — and yeah, I’m outside my comfort zone on this one. In this video I drilled up and threw two absolute legendary Motive pieces on a fresh house shot: the Evoke Hysteria and the GOAT (and I don’t say that lightly), the Venom Shock. Motive is new territory for me after throwing Brunswick equipment the last couple years, so you’re seeing real first-look reactions as I’m making moves, chasing left, and figuring out what these covers and cores want to do. The Evoke Hysteria surprised me with how heavy it rolls in the midlane and how hard it “goes off the spot,” even when I got it a little in the soup. It was earlier than I expected on this surface, but it still shaped downlane when I got it right. Then I switched to the Venom Shock (65 x 4 1/2 x 30) and immediately understood the hype: smooth, continuous, and versatile. If I’m in competition, I’m starting with the Venom Shock because it’s the calmer, jack-of-all-trades look — loop it, belly it, or play it straighter. And yes, I’m already thinking a second Venom Shock (and maybe another Hysteria) is in my future — plus I’m committing to follow-up videos so you can see how these balls hold up across different houses and surfaces.
