Week 9 of my Sunday Morning Trio League at AMF Stardust Lanes had one job: try to knock off the number one team. I was tired but I showed up, got the stream rolling, and we got right into it—no mercy, no “we friends right now,” and definitely no excuses. I started off rough (yeah… first ball wasn’t a good look), but it’s league: you clean it up, you keep moving, and you take it one game at a time. Along the way I’m calling out what I’m seeing on the lanes—fresh slide, friction living way right early, and then the pattern blowing up as we go. I’ll be honest: I didn’t adjust to transition like I should’ve, and I missed more 10-pins than I’m used to.
