There's an old saying...One size doesn't fit all. And bowling shoes are no different. Bowling shoes are an extreamly important aspect of the game that so many people over look it. In todays video, I will help you choose the right shoe for the right situation.

About This Video

In this video I talk about a part of bowling that gets overlooked way too often: your bowling shoes. One size doesn’t fit all, and depending on how and where you bowl, the “right” shoe can make your approach way more predictable (or way more frustrating). I break it down from an entry-level everyday shoe to a true performance option so you can figure out what actually fits your situation. For an entry-level, casual, everyday bowling shoe, my favorite I’ve come across is the Brunswick Alphamax. It looks like a regular tennis shoe, it’s super lightweight, and it’s honestly more comfortable than some performance shoes I’ve tried on. The tradeoff is simple: what you get is what you get—no adjusting slide sole or heel—so if you’re bouncing between centers and complaining about approaches being too slick or too tacky, you’re limited. On the performance side, I cover the Brunswick Fury, which gives you interchangeable soles and heels so you can dial in your slide for different approaches. You also get the Atop system (no laces) and more support with less flex, which can matter if you want extra stability on the approach.
