In this video I’m doing my year-end list: my favorite bowling balls of 2025. It’s wild saying that with 2026 right around the corner, but I wanted to put a bow on the year and share what actually earned a spot in my bag. I drilled 34 bowling balls this year—my money—so this list is strictly my opinion. I’m not paid and I’m not on anybody’s staff, so take it for what it is: what worked for me in league, tournaments, and the tougher “what the heck am I walking into?” situations. I start with honorable mentions that were great, but either didn’t have enough time in my hands or just barely missed the cut: DV8 Mantra Solid, the Zero Mercy Solid & Pearl, the Danger Zone Black & Purple Ice, and the DV8 Dark Side. Then I get into my Top 5: #5 DV8 Severe Collision for all-around versatility across different lane surfaces and patterns, #4 Columbia 300 Pulse for blending wet/dry and handling cliffed lanes, #3 Ebonite Turbo X for clean-but-strong motion (especially with a touch of surface), #2 Radical Evil Eye—one of the best balls I’ve owned and ridiculously easy to recommend—and #1 Brunswick Combat, my longest-tenured ball of the year and a “Vaporize 2.0” vibe that just flat-out works.
