In this video I’m taking you with me to High End Munich 2025 (the final show edition), and even if the weather outside was cold and messy, inside the vibe was warm and welcoming. I walk the floor and highlight the booths that actually made me stop, listen, and go “ok, I need to get this in for a proper review.” It’s not a single-product review, it’s a show tour focused on what looked interesting, what sounded promising, and what I think is worth your time (and money) this year. I start with Pilon Audio, easily one of the busiest booths at the show, with their curvy new speakers and the Jasper monitors (plus the more vintage-looking Jade series). Then I jump into compact power with the Erzetich Bacillus 2, talk about the Bacillus 2 Plus (fully balanced dual mono Class AB), and tease a full review of the Erzetich Phobos headphones because they genuinely impressed me. I also cover Keces refreshing their DAC line with the new “Euphony” concept (DAC + streamer in one), the wild Shanling portable CD player with tubes and an R2R DAC inside, and Ellipson’s approach to speakers + furniture for vinyl lovers.
