We’re back in the Midlands with our mates at Noble Electrical Solutions, finishing off a media wall we’d already been on recently—this time adding wood veneer panels behind the new 83" LG TV to properly complete the look. I’ll be honest, it was our first time doing veneer panels like this, so I was filming bits “for later” in case it all went sideways. But as I always say: it’s all in the prep. Measure properly, square everything end-to-end, and don’t rush the cuts—especially when you’re working around a TV bracket and cable exit points. In the video I run through the real-world install process: measuring and ripping panels, figuring out exactly where the cables need to come through, getting that first panel on (a bit of a squeaky-bum moment), and then checking the middle panel so it lands perfectly around the bracket. The last panel is where you can overthink it, but it’s all about trusting the process, taking precise marks, and trimming cleanly so the finish lines up with the details around the wall. Once the final panel’s on, we get the TV back up and you can see why we bothered—the veneer absolutely transforms the media wall.
