In this video I’m down in Devon to sit with one of our long-term clients, Alex, and chat properly about what it’s like living with Control4 day-to-day—and just as importantly, what good aftercare actually looks like. Alex originally had his Control4 system installed by another company, but after seeing our work at a show he brought us in to support, maintain, and improve the system going forward. It’s a really honest client interview, and I think it’ll resonate if you’ve ever worried about who’s going to look after your smart home once it’s in. We talk through the OS2 to OS3 upgrade, why it makes the system feel modern again without having to rip out loads of kit, and how simple usability becomes when the setup is done right—kids pick it up instantly, and even when they let the house out for weeks, it’s still straightforward.
