About This Video

In this vlog I’m packing and prepping for the babies’ first vacation—aka a little staycation to Laguna Beach. I’m a single millennial foster mama in Los Angeles, and right now I have two little guys: Buster (about one and a month) and Dash (almost two months). I keep their real names and case details private, so you’ll just see our real day-to-day life. I found a super good Airbnb deal on a hillside cottage with a fenced backyard, which is perfect because I like being near the beach (not necessarily on the sand), and Buster can actually run around outside. I walk you through what I’m bringing and why—especially what matters when you’re traveling solo with two under one. I’m packing smart: one medium bag for clothes/toiletries, a couple reusable bags for food, and then larger baby gear in the trunk. I share my WIC shopping plan (formula, grains, dairy, etc.), my diapering setup (cloth plus disposables overnight for Dash), and the practical stuff that keeps me sane: a bouncy chair that folds flat, safe floor spots like Podsters and a Nugget cushion, books Buster is obsessed with (Little Blue Truck forever), and my “bottle station” setup for overnight feeds. It’s a busy prep day, but it’s all about making travel smoother for both babies—and for me.
