This vlog is a little time capsule from August 2022 (yes… it took me that long to edit it). At the time, Dash wasn’t adopted yet, so you won’t see much of his face on camera, but I did catch a few sweet moments—and I have a ton of pictures. My good friend Blake (I’ve known him since 2002, back when we lived on the East Coast) came with me, and we took the babies to Monster Jam at the Crypto Arena in downtown LA. We were a little late because parking was way harder than I expected, and the Crypto Arena is a smaller stadium, so you’re not getting the most massive, craziest tricks ever—but honestly, they still did some really good stuff. The boys had a great time, it was LOUD, and Buster was completely in his element because he’s obsessed (we have, like, 50 Monster Jam toy cars at this point). Afterward, we had a little “love LA sometimes” moment when I found out someone hit my car in the garage and left damage… but the resolution ended up being way nicer than I deserved. Overall: chaotic, real life, and such a fun memory with my toddlers.
