About This Video

Hey friends—this vlog is all about one of those “what are we doing today?” adventures that turns into a core memory. I’m Angela Dee, a single millennial foster mom in Los Angeles, and I took my two little potato boys—Buster (19 months) and Dash (8 months)—on a private camel dairy tour near San Diego. I had never been to a camel dairy before (and neither had the boys), but Shelby has and she was like, “I have the perfect thing,” so we booked it and made a day of it. I’m keeping it real like always: the drive down from LA was about two hours and ten minutes with zero traffic, so as soon as we got there it was sunscreen time, diaper changes, and snacks before meeting up with Nate (not Shelby) and possibly some friends. If you’re a foster/adoptive parent (or just traveling with littles), you already know the magic is in the prep—because once you’re out there, you want to actually enjoy it. This video is basically foster family travel meets “let’s try something totally new,” and it’s a fun reminder that you can still say yes to adventures, even with babies in tow.
