About This Video

Hey friends—welcome to the vlog! In this video I’m giving you an apartment tour of our new place as a single millennial foster mom in Los Angeles. Right now I have one little baby boy (he’s 10 months old) and I call him “Buster” as a nickname because I don’t share his personal info, his family’s info, or anything about his case for privacy and legal reasons. I never showed my old apartment because it was always crowded with stuff, but this move felt like the perfect time to finally walk you through what our new setup looks like. We’re moving from a one bedroom to a two bedroom, and both bedrooms are the same shape (mirror images), which makes planning super easy. I start in the garage (yes, I have one!), show the laundry room with washer/dryer, head upstairs past the baby-gated staircase, and tour the half bath, storage closet, bedrooms, and the main bathroom. Then we get into the living room, porch/outdoor space, and my favorite part—the kitchen with a big fridge, built-in microwave, and a dishwasher (I literally haven’t had a dishwasher in my adult life). Add central AC and heat, and I’m just excited for my little “potato boy” to have more open space while we settle in, organize, and make this place home.
