About This Video

In Part 3 of our Disneyland day with two babies under two (shot May 2021), I’m taking you along for the evening stretch—aka the “nap buster” portion of the trip. After some truly delicious corn dogs, we head to the Tiki Room because New Orleans Square was a little busy and I knew the boys would love the animatronics. We also pop into the Haunted Mansion (hello, stretching room) and I’m sharing how the loud thunder/screaming hit with littles—Dash did great, and Buster was mostly okay too. Then we grab a treat (those Mickey-shaped beignets were absolutely delicious) and head to Winnie the Pooh because I saw the cutest tradition in a Disneyland passholder group—taking photos on the honey pot over the years—so I had to start that with my boys. We wrap up by hopping over to Disney California Adventure for a little Mermaid ride and a quick pier moment. By 8:25 pm both “cute little potatoes” are fully asleep, so we call it, head back to the parking garage, and do the real-mom travel routine: diapers, pajamas, car seats, gas, and maybe McDonald’s. Also—huge thank you to my friend Lizzie (Lizzie Makes Magic) for inviting us and capturing gorgeous pics.
