Hey friends—this vlog is Part 1 of our Disneyland trip with two babies under two (shot May 2021). I’m a single foster mom in LA, and I’m taking you along with me, Buster (15 months) and Dash (4 months) as we head out bright and early to meet up with my friend Lizzie (Lizzie Makes Magic), who very kindly invited us to Disney. Real-life mom stuff included: Dash finally getting back down to one overnight feed (woohoo), rushing out the door, and me doing my usual “just in case” prep—like keeping the boys in undershirts until we’re closer because I’m paranoid about spit-up in the car. Once we get there, we do the temperature screening (they didn’t check the boys because they’re under two), go through security, and I’m already sweating just walking in. Dash needs a bottle basically immediately, so I’m feeding him while Lizzie pushes the stroller—teamwork. Then we get the quick magic moment: Mickey pops up, we catch a little Main Street/castle vibe, and we head straight to Galaxy’s Edge because Lizzie snagged us a Rise of the Resistance boarding group (group 19—she’s amazing at it). I ride Rise of the Resistance (SO immersive) and then Smuggler’s Run where I’m the pilot… and yes, I crash into things. We wrap this part with the big question: what should the boys’ first ride be? We’re leaning Mr. Toad—kind of weird, kind of scary, and iconic.
