Happy Vlogmas Day 9! Today was another properly HOT day in Sydney, and honestly it meant no quilting for me (sad face). So instead of forcing it, I sat down for a cosy little chat and shared a handful of the favourite things that have been bringing me joy lately — the simple, everyday bits and pieces that make a day feel nicer. I talk through a couple of teas I’ve been loving (because if it’s too hot to quilt, I can at least have a lovely cuppa), plus what I’ve been watching and reading. I mention ‘All the Light We Cannot See’ by Anthony Doerr (and the Netflix adaptation), and a couple of shows that are perfect for switching your brain off and having a good time — like Only Murders in the Building and The Great British Bake Off. I also share a fragrance favourite (Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel), and I give a little nod to some gorgeous quilting bits and pieces like Bear Paw fabrics from Claire at The Stitch Saloon. It’s a gentle, happy-days kind of vlog — just a few favourites, and a little check-in.
