Happy Vlogmas Day 21! Today I’m trying something a bit different and taking you along for a narrated day in the life—very cosy, very “come with me while I potter about”. It’s one of those simple, happy days where I’m sharing what I’m up to as I go, and chatting you through the bits and pieces I’m making and planning. I also share a super easy buttercream recipe (because sometimes you just need something sweet with minimal fuss): beat softened butter until light and fluffy, gradually sift in icing sugar, then add milk and whip it until it’s super fluffy. And, of course, there’s sewing on the brain too—I mention the Butterick B6873 pattern, a printed rayon in the ‘Native Flowers’ design, and a lightweight fusible interfacing option, which are the sorts of basics I reach for when I’m planning garments and want something that behaves nicely.
