In this video, I’m finally doing the Top 10 Hoya wishlist you all asked for—because the “yes please” in the comments was LOUD. I walk through the Hoyas I’m currently drooling over, what makes each one special to me (leaf shape, variegation style, node spacing, and overall growth habit), and why most of them are still sitting firmly on my wishlist: they’re pricey, slow-growing, and usually only available as tiny one-vine or two-leaf situations. I also revisit two Hoyas that were on my bigger 2025 plant wishlist and explain why I still haven’t grabbed them yet—unless I get lucky in a live sale, an auction on Palmstreet, a trade, or a gift. Along the way, I share the exact “type” of variegation I prefer (like when green pops through that foggy look on an Argentia Princess), why I’m trying to avoid collecting a bunch of Hoyas that look too similar, and what I learned from seeing certain plants in-person at Plantcon. Basically: I’m picky, I’m patient, and I’m still obsessed.
