About This Video

hi my friends—this video is my full recap + FAQ after my 4-month trip around Asia. i finally finished editing and uploading all my vlogs (they’re organized by country in playlists), so i wanted to zoom out and talk through what the whole experience was actually like traveling solo in Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. i share how my trip plans shifted into a more “nomad” style situation (one-way ticket vibes), how i handled visa stuff as a US passport holder, and what felt different about each country—Taiwan being meaningful for my heritage, Japan being my first real visit, and Korea being more of a relaxed “redo the things i like” stop (even with a week of covid quarantine). i also get real about travel fatigue and creator burnout—because traveling full time is really, really hard. two months in, i hit a wall and had to learn how to slow down, rest, and stop forcing myself to do every “must-do” tourist thing (especially when i’m not even into sightseeing for the sake of sightseeing). i talk safety and convenience as a solo female traveler, plus my actual budget breakdown: i spent close to $10,000 total for four months (including flights + room/board), tracked everything in google sheets, and balanced splurge days by pulling back the next day. japan was the most expensive, and booking accommodations early matters a lot.
