In this Rank and Rate instalment, I’m ranking my Kerby Rosanes colouring books from last place to first place, and then sharing my favourite pages in each one. I’ve only got seven Kerby books in my stash right now (I recently destashed Imagimorphia and Anamorphia because I really don’t enjoy colouring lots of itty bitty bits and bobs). Just because a book lands lower on my list doesn’t mean I hate it—I genuinely love all of these, otherwise they wouldn’t still be in my collection. I talk through what draws me to certain pages (usually animals, big cats, and anything that feels less intimidating), what scares me off (sci‑fi/space themes, and water!), and the ideas I’ve got brewing—like turning a world in Alien Worlds into a toxic wasteland. I also share a few completed pages and long-term WIPs, plus what I reach for in Kerby books (hello, Derwent Inktense—especially on this paper). My top spot is no surprise: Mythomorphia is still my absolute favourite after all these years, and I chat through the pages I love most, including my completed unicorn.
