I randomly decided to go live (which I honestly don’t usually do!) because me and Steve were sat at our desks colouring anyway, so I thought… why not just pop the camera on and have a little natter with whoever was about. I also tested YouTube’s built-in streaming for the first time instead of my usual external software, and it was actually way less laggy — Steve even did a little “pen test” and it was only about six seconds behind. Colouring-wise, I carried on with my Mythographic: Fairy Wonderland page that I started during Steve’s stream the night before. I’m doing pencil shading and blending over a marker base to give it a bit more “oomph,” and I chatted through how I’m feeling about prompts and random picks (including a page of lemons that I’m just not vibing with — it’s giving wallpaper page, sorry!). Steve worked in Color My Sketchbook 3 by Bennett Klein, and we had a cosy catch-up about books, buddy colour ideas, supplies, and even what LEGO set I should build on my later livestream (Team Simba vs Team Tuxedo Cat!). It was just a friendly, chilled bonus live — proper little community hangout.
