In this video I’m sharing my January completed pages and my colouring plans for February 2025 all in one go (for a change!). January was a bit of a tough one for me mentally, and I was honestly beating myself up thinking I’d “done nothing”… but when I sat down and filled in my new Amanda Colors colouring journal, I realised I’d still put out nine videos (four pre-recorded and five livestreams). It really helped to get everything out of my head and onto paper, and it’s already feeling less overwhelming than my old journal where I had to write everything from scratch. I talk you through the WIPs I’m carrying into February (including my Annie Day catch-up plan, my members-only Small Victories page, my Year of Witches project with Jess, and my Kawaii Tarot page). Then I flip through my completed pages from January—my Wicked-inspired Romantic Country page was my absolute favourite, even though I’m “not a girly girl” and I’d never normally choose those colours! For February, I’m skipping randomiser wheels because I really want to join in with community hashtags and prompts. I’m planning pages for #awickedyearcolouralong, #cutecomfycozy2025, #annieday, #projectmythicalminis, plus Colour in Faebruary and Colour the Fairy Tales—along with a few buddy colours to keep me motivated while I’m climbing out of that slump.
