Hi everyone! In this video I’m sharing my completed colouring pages for May 2025… and I still can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but I finished 20 pages. I usually average about five or six a month, so this was honestly my best colouring month in years. I chat through what I used, what I loved, what I struggled with (hello, too much water and scary backgrounds), and I also show a couple of whips I’m taking forward into June—like my long, long ongoing Wild Mouse double-page spread that I’m tackling bit by bit with Janna. I flip through a mix of buddy colours, hashtags and project pages, plus some “first pages” in books I’ve been intimidated by or hadn’t touched yet. You’ll see everything from quick marker wins (like Cappy Bara Cuties and Disney colour-by-number) to bigger “labour of love” finishes like my Rita Berman page and my RJ Hampson mermaid that put me through all the emotions but turned out okay in the end. I also share little tips I rely on—like keeping sky/frame colours consistent in miniatures, using Jelly Roll Glaze in eyes for shine, and grabbing Google/Colour Cubes palettes when I need a push.
