Normally I record with a W USB microphone, but I’ve been wanting something compact that can help cancel background noise—especially when I’m filming practical content and I don’t want distractions pulling you out of the message. I talk through the options you can choose when you buy it (like getting one receiver/transmitter versus two). For right now I went with just one because I didn’t see the use of having two at the moment. I also point out the clip design (so you can attach it to your shirt), plus the little foam windscreen—personally, I prefer using it with the windscreen. And yes, I’m that adult now: I actually read the manual first so I don’t miss any functionality. I’m using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, so I chose the Type-C connector instead of the iPhone version.
