Then I share the biggest mistakes I see people make when they grab an antifungal cream from the pharmacy. First, they only use it once a day, but if you want it to actually work, you need to apply it morning and evening—twice daily. Second, they moisturize before the cream, and that creates a barrier that can stop the cream from penetrating like it should. I apply clotrimazole on camera on all the problem spots (and across my face), and you can see the flakes disappear immediately—no moisturizer needed.
