About This Video

In this Seoul “what I eat in a day” vlog, I brought you guys along on a super rainy day where the plan was basically cafe hopping + food hopping in Bukchon. I started late morning and headed to a Michelin-star traditional Korean restaurant (Kungi) to try soy sauce raw marinated crab for the first time. The queue was honestly way shorter than I expected (about 15–20 minutes), and the meal came out so fast. I ordered the raw marinated crab and the soy sauce marinated crab bibimbap-style dish, mixed everything together, and it was full of umami—like the sea, almost like sea urchin, and even a collagen-ish smooth texture. After that, I tried to go London Bagel Museum but the queue was crazy, so I switched to Onion Cafe instead. Even with the rain, there was still a line, but it moved pretty quickly. I got two sweet pastries and one savory (chocolate scone, a blueberry pastry, and a cheese bread), and the blueberry one was super flaky and my favorite. I ended the day with a random burger stop (because it looked good), then headed to Dongdaemun where I got shocked by malls that open at 8PM and close at 5AM. Back home, I finished with takeaway chicken (crispy, soft, flavorful, with glutinous rice inside) and realized… I definitely overate, but I was so happy.
