Good morning everyone—this video is basically me vlogging my day off in Dubai, and I literally woke up 5–10 minutes before turning the camera on. I’ve never done this kind of “day off” vlog before, but since I’m on my fourth day off (my passport was taken for my US visa application), I thought why not bring you guys along. I start with my usual little routine: skincare, then breakfast at home—my mushroom omelette with QP and ketchup, multigrain bagels I bought from Marks & Spencer in London (I love bagels), and a cucumber salad with sesame sauce (best sauce ever). After that, I head to the mall near my place to study for my recurrent exam (kind of scary, not gonna lie). It’s literally a 5-minute walk but in Dubai summer—42°C under the sun—it feels like 15. I grab an iced Americano from Costa (it came in a can, which was honestly kinda cool), struggle to open it because of my nails, and a guy ends up helping me—so funny. I study, snack on a chocolate twist, then go for my dentist appointment in the same mall. Later, I collect laundry, take the bus to Emirates HQ to pick up my passport, and finally end the longest day ever with comfort food—butter chicken with rice—and dessert: Dubai chocolate kunafa pistachio. 10/10 butter chicken rice forever.
