About This Video

Good morning from Frankfurt! In this cabin crew layover vlog, I’m exploring Frankfurt for the first time right after landing, and honestly I fell in love with how chill and pretty it is. It was around 10AM, 6°C (freezing for me), so I bundled up and took the tram—my stop was only 5 minutes from the hotel, super convenient. I walked around Römerberg, did a little river stroll (Mina Kai vibes), and even crossed a bridge covered in locks. The city felt beautiful in real life and not too crowded, which made the whole walk extra relaxing. Food was the main mission, but a lot of places only opened at 11, so I waited it out and ended up ordering a Frankfurt-style schnitzel with the famous green sauce. The sauce was tangy and herby, and the pork schnitzel was lean but still tender—paired with fried potatoes, I finished everything, left no crumbs. After that, I did my Germany essentials: DM for body lotion (I swear the quality here is so good), Aldi for bread and pretzels, and a quick supermarket run for bratwurst and a vegan lemon curd spread. I also shared a super important tip: trains don’t require tapping in, but officers do random checks—my day ticket was about €8 and it saved me from a big fine.
