About This Video

In this cabin crew weekend vlog, I’m taking you with me to Düsseldorf, Germany for my very first time here. It was super early (8:20am kind of early), so I kept it simple—breakfast at the hotel because I honestly didn’t feel like dining out. Since I’m staying near the airport, I planned a chill city explore instead of trying to squeeze in too much. I hopped on the bus (I bought the ticket inside the bus itself—€3.60) and started my little Düsseldorf adventure. I walked over to Hof Garden and I was genuinely surprised by how huge and peaceful it is. The weather looked sunny but the wind was cold, so I was really glad I packed a cardigan. I loved seeing how “healthy” everyone felt here—so many cyclists and people just relaxing by the lake. After that, I wandered through a calm shopping area, passed a flea market vibe with lots of books, and even spotted a cute pretzel shop and a small food market. The city center felt pretty quiet and small, but that was kind of the charm. Before heading back, I did my usual Germany stop at DM and picked up a few essentials for flying life: multivitamin tablets, lotions for my dry summer skin, and a super convenient SPF spray for hotter layovers. It was an easy, peaceful layover day—sometimes that’s exactly what I need.
