About This Video

Good morning guys—this Seoul vlog was a super cold Sunday (it dropped to -5°C, literally freezing), so I dressed up in my winter jacket and scarf and went straight for a proper Korean BBQ buffet lunch before heading to Itaewon. I tried this 18,000 won per person buffet and I ate so much meat I was actually bloated, but it was sooo worth it because it was hot, cozy inside, and the marinated meat was just right. Perfect cold-weather food. After that, I took the train and visited the National Museum of Korea because it’s super near the subway exit and the building is HUGE. I explored the exhibition halls, looked at artifacts up close (they even have screens to zoom in on details), and went up to the top where you can see Namsan Tower. The wind was really strong though, so I escaped into a café in Itaewon for a hot Americano (I can’t do iced like the Korean girls, sorry). Then I walked around Itaewon…and honestly, it felt like a ghost town. It was so quiet and empty for a Sunday night, not the vibes I expected at all. I ended up passing the October 29th Memorial Alley, then headed home—after taking the wrong road, climbing crazy steep steps, and walking through dark, cold neighborhood streets. In the end, Itaewon really wasn’t what I expected, but it was still one of those “real” travel days where you just explore and see what you get.
