About This Video

In this video, I brought you guys with me on a super full day tour outskirt from Seoul because these places are honestly not that easy if you’re doing it alone (and I didn’t want to stress about trains). I started the morning at Petite France and the Italian Village—yes, I woke up around 6am for this, and it was only 9am when I reached. It was so cold and the wind was crazy, but the vibes were cute: pink rooms, antique-looking displays, puppets, and little exhibits. I’m not really a map person, so I just strolled around and went into whatever looked interesting. After that, we headed to Nami Island for an early lunch to avoid the peak hours. I tried the dakgalbi (they said it originated from Nami), and it was honestly super good—soft, yummy, and warming in this weather. Nami Island itself was so beautiful and so chill, with trees everywhere, cute cafes, animals like peacocks, and so many photo spots that every angle looks good. It was windy and freezing, so I literally survived with gloves, a hot pack, and a hot Americano before rushing to catch the ferry. To end the tour, I did the Gangchon rail bike and it was fun but also… 8km in the cold is no joke. Then we took a long ride back (over 2 hours), and I ended my day in Hongdae with two dinners because I was starving—plus there was even a random fire incident on the street. Overall: cold day, but such a pretty and satisfying Korea day trip.
