About This Video

Good morning from Seoul—this day was basically me doing what I love most on a layover-style free day: eat, walk, and cafe hop until my skirt feels tight. I headed to Bukchon Hanok area around 11:30, hoping to finally try London Bagel Museum… but nope. The queue was insane and the staff told me it was a 4-hour wait, and I’m sorry but who waits 4 hours just to get into a bagel cafe? So I ditched that plan and went for tonkatsu lunch instead—hot, comforting, and honestly so satisfying, especially with the onion-egg sauce and rice. After that, I walked through Bukchon to enjoy the hanok views (finally no rain!) and tried Cafe Layered. It’s super pretty and everything is so Instagrammable, but I went straight for a matcha homemade cheesecake. The matcha was strong and not too sweet, but the slice was huge, dense, and I was FULL. Then I went back to Cafe Onion—yes, you still need to queue (rain or shine), but I got in after about 15–20 minutes and grabbed my favorite blueberry pastry with an iced latte (regret because I couldn’t finish it). I ended the day with a calming walk to Gwangjang Market to people-watch all the queues, then treated myself to my favorite kimchi bao before heading home to rest and do some work.
