About This Video

It’s time to finally choose your favorite 75% keyboard, because Meletrix pulled up with the Zoom75 TIGA—and yeah, in my opinion it’s a direct upgrade to the reigning champ: the original Zoom75. In this video I unbox the Gun Metal Grey TIGA and walk through what’s actually new: the upgraded packaging and accessories, the tri-mode hot-swap PCB options (flex cut vs non-flex), the magnetic connectors/daughterboards, and that upgraded 60fps screen you can mess with using the Pocket W app. It still keeps the “swapable modules” DNA that makes the Zoom line fun, but the TIGA takes it further with more choices and a more refined feel. Once I got hands-on, the design started hitting even harder—this one feels slimmer and more sleek than the older, chunkier Zoom75 profile people complain about. You also get four mounting styles (I went elastic bar), built-in force break pads, a ball catch system, and a build experience that’s very “current meta” with quick release + magnetic elements that make it easy to tinker. I ran sound tests with the Wuque Studio Black Arowana linears on different setups (foamless, plate foam, and the new cork “crisp quk sandwich”), and the more I sit with it, the more impressed I am. It’s a builder’s keyboard, not a prebuilt—but it’s easy to put together, and the journey is kind of the whole point.
